A gorgeous and unusual 'Gypsy Cauldron' by Atkin Bros with a splendid gilt washed interior. These were probably used for keeping sauces warm etc, suspended from a tripod above a burner. One side is crested with a demi-lion rampant holding a fleur-de-lis, the other has a conjoined monogram 'ES'.
Condition: Gleaming silver with surface marks, gleaming gold interior with some minor marks. A few minor knocks to body. Makers marks part rubbed.
