A Victorian set of 24 mother of pearl handled dessert knives and forks in a lovely fitted case. Bright cut silver plated work. Made by Elkington and bearing their date letters for manufacture in 1859 and 1860.
Condition: Plating is in overall good order with some minor wear in places and use marks. Most of the handles are ok, some have some cosmetic cracks and some have very well reglued segments. Case is overall good for age with some surface scratches and a vertical stress line in the wood to left of the vacant brass cartouche.
