Our Reference #: 54876
A silver on copper tea caddy in Georgian style but appears to be a later example as there are no visible seam joins to body, albeit you can see a seam to the lid. The underside is monogrammed with a single initial 'B' and this certainly looks to be a Victorian engraving, so presumably a late Victorian example.
Condition: Overall gleaming silver with some copper bleed 'scratches' to upper body below the & general wear to the lid. Some gentle dents to body. Underside has obvious platers or pawn brokers markings. Interior has some slight tarnish/residue at base.
