ANTIQUE SILVER PLATED TEA POT C. 1870 - VICTORIAN (#54886)

Our Reference #: 54886

A good looking Victorian silver plated tea pot of squat gourd shape with a floral final, on elaborate feet.

Condition: Has been historically thickly re-silvered and is quite mirror like. Some slight wear in a line above one of the feet. Interior is fairly clean with a little wear. Slight loss to the edge of the finial flower petals. There is a 'clonk' to the interior of the spout when moved, it may be some sort of integral flow cut off device for when over-tipped or just something stuck in the spout - it still pours nicely enough. A few gentle knocks/ dents - nothing significant. Looks beautiful in real life.

Identifying Marks: Just marked 'Best Metal'.
