Atkin Bros

A lovely and unusual pair of small spade end tongs in Apostle pattern with bright cut work to the top nip end in the Aesthetic movement style, probably c. 1880. Made by Atkin Bros of Sheffield.

A good looking biscuit barrel with Chippendale style rims, raised on scroll feet. Will date c. 1910. Made by Atkin Bros of Sheffield.

A good looking larger size set by Atkin Bros of Sheffield with elaborate deep chased decoration on a hexagonal base shape. Each piece is monogrammed to one the facets with 'JRJ'. Tea pot is marked as 4 cups (2 pints) capacity and the coffee pot 5 cups (2.5 pints). The sugar bowl is exceptionally large! Gilt wash to interiors of the sugar bowl and milk jug.
