A super quality set of fish eaters by William Marshall fully hallmarked for Edinburgh 1869. Very heavy gauge silver. Finely decorated handles incorporating a small crest of a demi-lion rampant holding an anchor.

Condition: Generally good with some slight use marks. A couple of the knives have some cementing at hilts but all pieces are perfectly solid and useable. A coupe of fork prongs marginally out of shape. Total weight of the silver (with filled handles) is 810g. Cased weight is 1830g. Case in generally good order with a small hole in the veneer at a lid corner, some scratches and some wear to lining.
