A very fine looking 4 piece set by Dixon, a kind of mix of rococo meets art nouveau in style with superb looking grape vine feet and trailing fret worked vines to the handles. The bodies profusely chased with foliates & scrolls. Tea pot is 2 pints, coffee pot is 2.5 pints.
Condition: All absolutely gleaming silver, no real issues in terms of dents, some minor knocks to bodies. Interiors are all fairly clean, some wear to the teapot interior but not nasty wear, its clean. Minor wear to teapot hinge. Slight use wear digs to interior of sugar bowl and slight wear to its body at each side at the handle areas. Slight wear to gilt wash inside milk jug. A real 'looker' of a set!
