A very nice looking combo! The coaster by Elkington was manufactured in 1873, electro-plated on copper and with 4 Egyptian style raised heads with chased work to rim. The decanter is a perfect fit on the coaster and a good heavy lead crystal glass piece with deep cut work and original stopper and comes with a good silver plated WHISKY label.
Condition: Coaster: gleaming silver with some slight copper bleed to edge of rim and to the raised heads. A small dent to rim. Decanter: fine, just some tiny fleabites to the base end of the stopper (extremely minor). Label; fine.
