A lovely suite and amazingly the bottle funnel has stayed together with the 2 coasters for 200+ years! Funnel has mercury gilt interior. Coasters are suitable for champagne bottles too. They are early c.19th in date.
Condition: Funnel: gleaming silver, minor wear and slight copper bleed in the gilding, slight knock to spout aperture area. Coasters: Both exceptional for age, retain almost all of their original silver other than some very slight copper bleed at the inside rims. Some wear and marks to the varnish to the turned wooden bases.
