This is a real whopper of a tray! Raised on 4 ornate feet with a lovely chased design to surface and a central crest of an eagle displayed with a plume to its beak. Generic Sheffield PGS makers mark (pre 1896). Measures 76cm across the handles, 60cm excluding the handles and a large 47.5cm wide. UK Mainland only shipping on this one due to its dimensions etc.
Condition: Overall gleaming silver with some surface scuffs and feint tarnish related marks to surface. Some minor wear to rim area and some residual tarnish in places to the handles, feet and rim areas but looks fine as is. Underside has heavier tarnish but of course you don’t see this. No dents other than some very gentle vertical 'knocks' to the inside long rim on each side, very minor. Looks absolutely splendid. Tea set shown in one of the photos is for size illustration only and not included in the sale.
