A really beautiful piece, this is a larger sized whisky noggin (or very small claret type jug!) by Dixon with lovely cutwork and good silver plated upper with elaborate thumb plate to lid.

A good 3 piece set by James Dixon & Sons of Sheffield, the teapot engraved to one side to a Gwendoline (Elsey) Wright from her office friends on the occasion of her marriage Oct 1909'. Pot capacity is marked as '4' for 2 pints Larger sized sugar bowl, both bowl and jug have gilt washed interiors.

A nice looking 24 piece set of fish eaters by James Dixon & Sons of Sheffield bearing a design registration number equating to 1891 (Rd No 175748). These are a good larger size than usual.
