Our Reference #: 54920

A good looking 'half size' tea urn c.1810 with ring handles, column style legs and bun feet.

Condition: Overall gleaming silver, slight copper bleed to lid. Some gentle knocks to the body, no significant dents but the inside aperture that the lid fits into is a bit out of shape, lid can still be fitted fairly tightly however. The interior is tinned and hard lead soldered around the handle joins and tap, and to interior base where the external thicker 'shield' to underside is fitted. The central part of the plinth is fixed, not sure if it was made like this or has been converted from a burner type arrangement. Tap works fine, a very minor cosmetic piece of ebony missing, smooth to touch.
