A nice sized chest for 12 settings in a mahogany veneer finish. Most sets will fit easily inside, the knife slots are for dinner knives of c. 21-21.5cm and the side knife slots are c. 19-19.5cm
A small lot of hallmarked sterling silver including a fiddle pattern dessert fork, childs fork, 2 food pushers and a Georgian egg spoon with incuse duty mark (London 1781).
A set of 6 sterling silver handled small dessert knives fully hallmarked for Sheffield 1931/32, with steel blades, a further set of 6 thread shell butter/tea knives with sterling silver handles fully hallmarked for Sheffield 1917 and an odd knife Sheffield 1930. 13 in total.
Here are 2 hipflasks with detachable drinking cups. The ornate one is Victorian and made by Francis Howard of Sheffield, capacity is unmarked but probably c. 3oz, the other one is a Dixon 1/4 pint (5oz) capacity example, early c.20th.
Here are 2 lovely magnifying glasses, the handles from the same carved design of mother of pearl and the uppers with ornate silver plated ferrule and silver plated frame to the glass. Obviously one is larger than the other.
