Our Reference #: 55609
An impressively heavy gauge large silver vase fully hallmarked for London 1909, maker Horace & Woodward & Co Ltd. It has a weighted base but its balance point is at the lower stem area, so by simple maths at least 50% of the overall weight has to be contained in the upper section which is obviously all silver. So at least 345g of silver here, probably closer to 400g total.
Condition: Overall good, a small dent to lower of fluted area and a mild surface knock nearby, a few minor surface knocks to pedestal. One pinhead knock to upper flared flute area. Interior has some dark tarnish marks. Makers marks part rubbed.
