A real heavyweight of a butter knife by George Adams for Chawner & Co, fully hallmarked for London 1859. Fiddle thread pattern with crest to handle of the Clan Macaulay, motto Dulce Periculum above a spurred riding boot (trans: 'Danger is Sweet', or 'Sweet Danger').

Condition: Overall fine with some feint tarnish related marks, no dents.
