Our Reference #: 49439

An absolutely gorgeous looking Victorian piece but sadly lacking one of its inkwells. Very elaborate chamberstick style sealing wax candle holder with wax bowl to base. The stand is engraved 'Presented to the Revd George Pinder on leaving Hartford, by his parishioners'. Made by Henry Wilkinson & Co of Sheffield. Replacement inkwells will need a base of 1 inch (2.5cm) to fit into the recesses.

Condition: Gleaming silver with some minimal wear. One glass inkwell missing but its lid and collar are still present. Possible minor historical resolder to underside of 1 leg but it is very minor overall.
