This is a real talking piece! Aesthetic movement c. 1870 or so by Martin Hall & Co of Sheffield. The tall stand is formed as crossed twigs joined with a ropetwist to their bases to support the burner and 'tied' at top with faux rope decoration. The pot itself has a branch form spout and twig form handle. Pot is fairly small at about 1 pint capacity.
Condition: All absolutely gleaming silver. Pot has a few gentle body knocks and slight wear at interior but is clean. Minor patch of plate wear to underside. The lid finial has a crack and small chip but not about to fall apart. The pot lid has a tendency to graze against the arch of the handle when opened but the handle is definitely not dented or out of shape. Its not a big deal.
