A lovely piece, this is a Georgian blown glass decanter with triple ring neck and probably original stopper. It has an etched crest topped with a bull's head, the Latin motto 'Omnia Nobis Curae' below the crest. This is the crest of the Mackaness family.
Condition: Main body is fine with some bloom to interior base. Stopper has a chip to one side and some smaller nibbles. Although not a completely perfect fit it fits pretty much as it should so may just be a bit worn down from the years, it certainly looks to be contemporary with the base. Height measurement is to top of stopper.
