Our Reference #: 50299

Here are 2 examples of early c.19th pewter dish warmers, with good touchmarks - 1 for Michell of London and 1 for Watts. Both have 'pull out' type hot-water reservoir flaps rather than 'lift up' hinged ones.

Condition: Both exhibit heavier wear and pewter is 'bright' from historical polishing etc. The Michell one has a probable repaired hole to body and a small hole just above the reservoir flap, more general pitting etc to this one than the other.
