A vintage Sheffield made wine bottle coaster with pierced gallery and tuned wooden base. The worn central cap has a crest of a lion rampant.

A very fine looking pair of wine bottle coasters by Elkington Mason made in 1859. The central crest is of the Odlum Family (as in the Irish flour producers). Nicely pedestalled bases with turned mahogany and gorgeous flared rims with pseudo coat of arm style engravings.

An older Old Sheffield Plate wine bottle coaster unusually with the middle section silvered rather than with turned wood, but still with a wooden base.

Never seen another like this one! The base is formed and engraved as a birds wing and the bars are formed as crossed feathers. It has a ring to the larger end for retaining a butter dish. Comes with the later ramekin and a very nice butter spreader. Bears a design registration number equating to 1895 and made by Norton & White of Birmingham.
