This is a nice and unusual piece by Plato, the 2 holders to front are of slightly differing shape and height for some reason, we assume it was for holding pencils but could be wrong.

A large canteen of Pinder Bros of Sheffield 'Consort' pattern, designed in 1958. 8 place settings of dinner fork, dinner knife, side fork, side knife, tea knife, fish fork, fish knife, dessert spoon, soup spoon, tea spoon, coffee spoon + 4 tablespoons + 3 piece carving set. Total of 95 pieces.

A good looking case with profuse chased scroll decoration, the front monogrammed 'ALW' above the date 1897. Fully hallmarked for Birmingham 1896.
