A close plated (silver on steel) meat skewer by John Gilbert c. 1830 just shy of 16 inches long, plus a shorter c. 12 inch early electroplate example by John Nowill & Sons of Sheffield c. 1850, this one having some bright cut decoration.
An exceptionally fine looking muffin dish by Mappin & Webb, a joy to look at! Raised on claw feet with side handles and nicely formed shall en pie crust style rim. Good lid finial.
A larger than usual pressed glass salad or fruit bowl with a silver plated rim, made by Falstaff, together with a pair of cut glass and silver plated salad servers made by James Deakin & Sons of Sheffield.
