Silver Plate, Sheffield, EPNS, Old Sheffield Plate

Here are 2 very similar but not quite identical pairs of grape scissors - full length.

Here are 3 frames each with an easel back & complete with glass. The smallest takes a 'standard' size photograph, visible size 107mm by 75mm, the middle size 131mm by 94mm and the largest displays 164mm by 112mm.

A 4 bottle set (press-moulded glass) on stand by W. Briggs and Co of Sheffield c. 1900.

A nice looking group of 4 napkin rings evidently by the same hand, set with Turquoise etc stones. They have no markings.

A pair of café au lait pots with side handles and concave hexagonal bodies. Silver plated on copper.

A pair of ornate napkin rings numbered '13' and '14' in a presentation case.

A good looking silver plated coffee pot by Daniel & Arter c. 1900, capacity marked as 4 cups (2 pints) with a matched sugar bowl and milk jug.

A 3 piece EPBM set by Ashberry of Sheffield c. 1900, each piece decorated with swags.

A nice looking circular dish on a short pedestal base, chased interior.

A good quality 3 light candelabra by Barker Ellis with detachable wax drip pans and a flame style candle snuffer.

A suite of 5 bowls by Elkington/BSL (Elkington was incorporated into BSL in the 60's) - each with wording 'Bridge Restaurant'. Made c. 1970. Suitable for any kind of amuse bouche dish (sorbet, ice cream, grapefruit segments etc).

A bulk lot of antique & vintage plated wares including a pair of telescopic candlesticks (a/f), goblets, mugs, cruet set pieces, jugs, epergne stand etc.

A job lot of plated tableware including an early electric tea-kettle (untested), galleried serving tray, 2 oval meat platters (worn), cruet set in box, coasters, bowls, candlesticks etc.

A siphon stand by Levesley Brothers of Sheffield of plain Edwardian form. These make great wine/champagne bottle stands.

A suite of 40 bowls by Elkington/BSL (Elkington was incorporated into BSL in the 60's) - each having a crest of the City of Coventry (3 differing varieties). Suitable for any kind of amuse bouche dish (sorbet, ice cream, grapefruit segments etc).

A set of 10 Elkington larger sized circular serving bowls, various date letters 1950's and 1960's. No engravings. Heavy pieces with a total weight of 7.3kg!

A suite of 23 bowls by Elkington/BSL (Elkington was incorporated into BSL in the 60's) - each having a crest of the City of Coventry other than 2 which are marked 'Bridge Restaurant'. These are worn and sold as such but the exteriors are quite good - they could be filled with floral oasis to make nice little posy centrepieces for wedding tables etc.
