Silver Plate, Sheffield, EPNS, Old Sheffield Plate

A collection of 4 Old Sheffield Plate sugar tongs c. 1770-1800

A suite of 6 placemats in differing designs but all the same size more or less. 3 have cork undersides, 3 have baised undersides.

Here are 6x silver plated small dish covers by Elkington, date marked for manufacture in 1934 and each bearing the Anchor & Anchor-Donaldson Line logo to fronts. They are kind of tea - plate sized.

A good looking antique silver plated belt with lion and unicorn panels interspersed with floral panels and a larger drop with florals to one side and a flower lady to the other. Probably Dutch.

A deco period dish frame complete with its original Pyrex glass bowl and lid.

A deco period oval faceted body tea pot with paw style feet, Sheffield made. Capacity c. 1.5 pints.

An unusual early c.20th 3 piece EPBM set by Atkin Bros with strong Celtic decoration. Pot capacity 1.5 pints.

A pair of very small size Old Sheffield Plate chambersticks with detachable wax drip pans and candle snuffers. Tinned undersides.

A reasonably modern chrome or low grade silver plated double wine bottle cooler. Takes a standard modern shape 70cl wine bottle, not a champagne type bottle shape.

A larger than normal milk jug in hotelware style made for the military by Elkington in 1961. Capacity 1 pint (500ml).

A very impressive sized flagon in pretty good shape for its age.

A larger sized Victorian electroplated bottle coaster with a Greek key style rim and turned wooden base. Made by Silber & Fleming.

A good looking longer oval bread roll dish with raised wheat head and wheat stalk decoration.

A chamberstick by Matthew Boulton c. 1790 bearing 'Soho Patent' marks to the unusual pull out drip pan. Tinned underside with Boulton's twin sunburst marks.

A good looking OSP teapot with tinned interior, original carved wooden handle.

A nice looking pair of cauldron style salts raised on 3 hoofed feet. They come with the 2 spoons shown.

A pair of silver plated jugs of c one half of a pint capacity, each with hand engraved chasing.

A good looking wine bottle coaster with pierced silver on copper gallery and bakelite 'faux wood' interior.
