Our Reference #: 52753

An interesting Elkington piece due to both its age & markings - appears to bear the 1846 '6' in lozenge but the 6 is the correct orientation rather than reversed as is the norm. Either way it's a very early piece of Electroplate!

Condition: Overall gleaming silver with some nickel bleed to handle, lid and to underside of the bellied area join with the pedestal, which may have been replaced at some stage. One dent to lower body, dent to foot rim & slight wobble on flat. Repair to upper handle join and some movement at handle but still 'useable'. Lid finial is a later replacement. Interior is reasonable with some tarnish marks.
