Our Reference #: 50343

A larger sized mid c.19th EPNS tray with applied moulded silvered rim decoration, converted from a salver. Central chasing has an armorial crest device of a griffin above a Ducal or Marquess crown.

Condition: Plating completely worn back to nickel to front other than the rim, but still looks good. Overall surface marks/some wear to chasing etc. Underside rim shows the 'scars' of where the feet once were but don't cause any big problems, they are away from the flat surface of underside so will not scratch a table etc. There is a small area of damage to one of the protruding areas of rim moulding but it doesn't notice when flat.
