Our Reference #: 50441

A lovely thing - this is a very large pub water jug made by Roberts & Belk for The Plough Inn and bearing presumably the inn keepers name 'Tom Greatorex' and a date of 1875. Has bright cut Georgian style chased decoration and a very substantial handle. Has a capacity of at least 3 pints, takes 3.5 pints fairly comfortably.

Condition: Polished and gleaming silver with some nickel bleed (plate wear) to body but looks great. A few body dents, no huge ones. Interior has some slight tarnish.
