A George III sterling silver drum mustard pot by John Langlands I & John Robertson I of Newcastle, bearing just partial markings of lion passant and duty mark, no assay office or date letter which is not too unusual for Newcastle made pieces. The Bristol blue glass liner fits perfectly so may even be its original. It will date c, 1780. Comes with a later sterling silver mustard spoon by Josiah Williams & co London 1901.
