A most beautiful and high quality spoon with a fabulous bespectacled crane carrying baby handle and an unengraved clock face to the bowl, the idea being that you would get it engraved with the time & date of a baby's birth together with weight. Made by F G Flavell Ltd and fully hallmarked for Birmingham 1977. Comes in a really good antique fitted case.

An amazing condition Victorian Moroccan leather and gilt tooled scissor case by Joseph Rodgers & Sons of Sheffield with 3 pairs of steel scissors inside.

These are as rare as hens teeth! You just don’t see dinner knives with mother of pearl handles. Made by Joseph Rodgers & Sons of Sheffield, blades with Queen Victoria's mark above the makers mark. In Starr & Marcus of New York wooden case (the case dates pre 1878 when S&M became Theodore B. Starr).

Here are 3 pieces used on board cruises on the Nile by Thomas Cook's Nile Service. The dinner fork is by Christofle and accurately dates to 1884, the other 2 are by Mappin Bros of Sheffield (later Mappin & Webb) and of a similar date. These are interesting pieces of early Egyptian tourism history.
