A sterling silver good sized case that could be used for business cards etc. It has a rather nice inscription inside too - Presented to the Mayor of Macclesfield Alderman C.W.Kirk on the opening of the Ridgegate Filter House 29th Sept 1942'. Made by Herbert Bushell & Son Ltd and fully hallmarked for Birmingham 1937.

Condition: Some surface marks to exterior and slight marks to the gilt washed interior. The tiniest of knocks, no real dents. Elastic strap to interior is still fairly elastic.
