Our Reference #: 52488

A most magnificent large & heavyweight mustard pot by John Evans II fully hallmarked for London 1853. The lid has an armorial crest of an eagle or griffins head to each side. Body panels are beautifully decorated with fruit & florals.

Condition: Overall superb, no dents or damage to the silver, minor tarnish marks to interior. Glass liner is a later replacement but fits perfectly diameter wise, protruding from the bottom of the pot but not offensively so and works perfectly well. The silver weighs an impressive 167g.
