A lovely piece made for the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York and a replica of one of 12 from the Irwin Untermyer collection. The interior inscription reads '12 of these the guift of James Heames twice warden 1662' and to the reverse side 'James Heames His Guift'. The sides of the pot bear Heames armorial crests.

Condition: No dents or damage.
