Sterling Silver, Solid Silver

Here are 3 large bread knives with steel blades, one has a sterling silver handle fully hallmarked for Sheffield 1900, the other 2 have silver plated handles.

A good antique Chinese export silver spoon by Wing Nam & Co c. 1900. Will be c. 900 standard. Gilt wash to bowl interior.

A 917 standard fiddle pattern teaspoon by Paolo Pace.

A set of 6 early c.20th Chinese 'good luck' spoons, handmade and having applied mother of pearl panels set with gold coloured character. In mock-croc case.

An 830 standard silver childs spoon by David-Andersen in the 'Hare, Fox and Bear' pattern. Interestingly also has Swedish hallmarks.

These are really quite incredible little pieces! There are 5 forks and 5 knives, they are unmarked silver plated, and each handle is a semi-precious stone including carved amber (with inclusions), carved amethyst quartz, other quartz, carved rock crystal, agates etc. Forks range in size from 10cm to 10.5cm, knives 11.8-12cm. We assume they were intended for use as date or olive utensils. Probably dating c. 1920, origin middle eastern at a guess.

A super condition 3 piece set made by Mappin & Webb to commemorate the 200th anniversary of the Sheffield assay office. Each piece is Fully hallmarked for Sheffield 1972. Comes with certificate and in original case.

A lovely spoon in 'Pattern 21' by Georg Jensen bearing import hallmarks for London 1930.

Includes a 26.7cm pistol grip handled Trotter family branch crested dinner knife (motto 'festina lente') hallmarks rubbed, 25cm meat fork (hallmarks rubbed), 27.8cm bright cut dinner knife (lion passant & duty mark only fairly rubbed), 22cm 4 pronged dinner fork (Sheffield 1828 part rubbed) and a 25.8cm early Victorian dinner knife with rubbed crest, hallmarks rubbed, blade marked Thornhill London.

A pair of fish servers by Martin, Hall and Co with sterling silver handles crested with a recumbent stag. Silver plated uppers.

A nice small cigar/cheroot cutter with a gently planished (hand-hammered) surface. Simply marked '930S' - probably Norwegian (Marius Hammer in particular used this standard occasionally). The cutting aperture is quite small at 1cm.

A nice looking vintage silver spoon set with a nicely mounted smoky quartz colour stone below its lion terminal. Probably Sri Lankan origin..
