A lovely thing and must be incredibly scarce - this is a sterling silver napkin ring from the Trial voyage of the steamship RMS Karina in 1905. It has an enameled flag to body of the African Steamship Co. The ring is fully hallmarked for Sheffield 1904 and made by Walker & Hall. The Karina was requisitioned as a hospital ship during WW1 and was sunk by a German torpedo in 1917.
