Our Reference #: 53293

A sterling silver straining ladle by Peter, Anne & William Bateman bearing partial hallmarks for London 1803. The holes are too small for it to have been made as a sugar sifting ladle, probably for pickles. Has an attractive leaf type join of the handle to the bowl, the handle being physically soldered to bowl.

Condition: Hallmarks & makers marks are quite rubbed. A few very gentle dents to the bowl.
