A good looking and very unusual cased set of 6 pairs of fruit dessert cutlery by Elkington made in 1939. They have a black band inset in each of the pearl handles
Condition: All hand polished & gleaming silver with some use marks. One fork has a 'U' shaped crack at top of handle but it is stable. Another fork has a very slight stress line to one top side of handle and some slight pitting to rear of pronged area. Silk lining has some holes caused by the forks. Exterior of case very good.
