Our Reference #: 52439

A lovely looking 24 piece set of fish eaters with carved mother of pearl handles, ornate ferrules and bright cut EPNS uppers. Made by R.F. Moseley of Sheffield c. 1880.

Condition: All hand polished & gleaming silver with some use marks and slight wear at the chased decoration. Forks have wear patches to their rear heel sides and knives have some wear patches to their rear of blade sides. Handles generally good, some slight chipping to some of the handle ends. One fork has a minor stress line at ferrule. One fork has a loose ferrule. All are solid & useable pieces. Restrainers to the forks have perished a little and a few of the forks tend to fall out when lid closed. Case exterior is quite good with some scratches/digs. Has its key (bent handle end) and lock still works.
