Vintage Canteens and Cased Cutlery sets etc

A nice large suite of Coniston pattern (effectively the same as Harley pattern) by Priestley & Moore. 12 of all the main pieces you need - dinner forks, dinner knives, side/dessert forks, side/dessert knives, dessert spoons + 6x tablespoons. Total of 66 pieces. Obviously the knives have steel blades and silver plated handles.

A vintage set by Community in their Hampton Court pattern for 6 settings + an extra dessert spoon and side/dessert knife. Total of 70 pieces. Case has room for expansion to 12 settings.

A fine set of 8 settings of fish eaters together with matching fish servers by Asprey. Chippendale pattern handles.

A good early c.20th cased set of 6 coffee spoons and matching sugar tongs in Old English Bead.

These are really quite incredible little pieces! There are 5 forks and 5 knives, they are unmarked silver plated, and each handle is a semi-precious stone including carved amber (with inclusions), carved amethyst quartz, other quartz, carved rock crystal, agates etc. Forks range in size from 10cm to 10.5cm, knives 11.8-12cm. We assume they were intended for use as date or olive utensils. Probably dating c. 1920, origin middle eastern at a guess.

A suite of 3 dessert forks and 3 dessert spoons, 5 by Wm Hutton & Sons of Sheffield and one by the Army & Navy stores, each crested with a knights arm brandishing a dagger.

A lovely assortment of pieces with Reed & Ribbon pattern handles including 2 pickle forks, cold meat/bread forks, sardine fork and 2 jam spoons. Longest measures 19cm and the shortest 15.8cm. 7 pieces in total.

A lovely and hard to find set by Roberts & Belk in Old English Bright Cut for 8 persons. Includes a matching pair of salad servers, all the usual pieces but no teaspoons. Total of 54 pieces. Comes with R&B pattern guide & pricelist brochure dated 1992.
