A lovely looking pedestalled oval shape bowl (they are usually circular) by WMF complete with its cranberry glass liner, together with a Victorian bowl also complete with cranberry liner.
Condition: WMF one: Glass excellent. Plating is gleaming silver with some very minor wear to the decoration at the footrim, hardly noticeable. There is a small old repair to the fret worked gallery near one of the handles but not noticeable with glass in place. Note the WMF stamp is a bit weird, but its definitely a WMF piece! Antique one: Plating is pretty much all worn back to nickel. This was originally swing handled and has had its handle removed as evidenced by the 2 breaks in the upper rim decoration. Glass is fine.
