A good looking heavy gauge ‘modernist’ style open salt pot on crimped base with original Hanoverian salt spoon and matching pepper pot. Pots are both fully hallmarked for London 1977, spoon London 1973. All made by maker William Comyns & Sons. Salt pot: no dents, some feint salt related tarnish marks to interior but hidden anyway by the glass liner. Minor tarnish related marks to underside and very slightly to outside but they don’t notice in reality. Liner fine. Spoon fine with minor marks, makers mark is part rubbed. Pepper pot: A couple of small consecutive dent to lower body, when flat on the table they are barely visible. Some minor surface digs and slight tarnish related marks to exterior. An antique cased set of 6 spoons with matching tongs, and a later cased set of 6 demitasse coffee spoons with ornate handle pattern. The older set plating is completely worn back to nickel but they still looks good overall and in a nice case, slight scuffs to lid. The tongs restrainer is part broken (see photos) but still sits fine and flat in the case as intended. Newer set 2 of the spoons are worn to nickel and 2 more have some slight wear to rear of bowls but still overall look ok. Case good. GBP17.99

The case has a few issues, one of its lid hinges has been moved due to a break at the original hinge location. Some pulls and holes to lining. The large server has a tendency to fall out of its slot due to a tear to its lining. Hinge ribbons have frayed. Exterior of case not bad with some scratches etc. GBP23.99

HUGE CHAMPAGNE COOLER – SILVER PLATED – VINTAGE – SAINT ST HILAIRE PARIS Item #57642
A truly massive vintage champagne cooler by St Hilaire of Paris. It comes with a removable rack – the rack keeps 3 bottles vertical in the middle and can be used either way up depending on your preference by bending the legs a little. Without the rack it will easily accommodate 6+ bottles. Gleaming silver, some slight wear to the pedestal base and a few small areas of wear to interior & exterior but they don’t detract that much. No dents. Some minor scratches. Note that for shipping the rack will be inverted into the bowl – the 3 ‘legs’ are flexible but strong, and can be bent back easily without causing any damage etc. GBP249.99
UNUSUAL VICTORIAN 4 LIGHT SILVER PLATED CANDELABRA ANTIQUE Item #57643
An interesting piece and quite an impactful one too. The stick appears to be an Old Sheffield Plate (silver on copper) example that has been converted to accept the later Victorian electroplated (silver on nickel) candelabra arms via a screw in mount. The arms are decorated with acorns and leaves, and there is further acorn decoration to the removable drip pans. Overall height is 38cm, height to the top of the stick is 27cm We have not polished this as is it has quite a good look as it is, but will gleam up if you want to do it. There are some general knocks to the stick section, come copper bleed etc. The arms have some nickel bleed but it doesn’t really detract much. The drip pans appear to have the odd area of missing acorn rim decoration, but it might just be how they were made. It stands very well and looks very good! GBP74.99
