HUGE ELKINGTON SILVER PLATED SERVING TRAY – 1914 – ANTIQUE Item #58633
A really quite massive tray by Elkington! Date marked for manufacture in 1914. Conjoined monogram to centre ‘CTC’. Measures 74cm across the handles, 60.5cm excluding the handles and 44cm wide. Gleaming but with overall surface scuffs. Would benefit from a proper buffing, we have just give this a light hand polish. No major dents just a couple of miniscule surface knocks. HUGE SILVER PLATED GALLERY TRAY – PAW FEET – SILVER PLATED Item #58634
An impressively big vintage silver on copper serving tray with flared pierced gallery, raised on lions paw feet. Absolutely gleaming, slight surface scuff marks, nothing at all excessive. Some minor bumps to surface, no major dents. Any dark patches in the photos are just reflections. Tea ware shown is for size illustration only and is not included in the sale. GBP119.99

BEAUTIFUL ANTIQUE MAPPIN & WEBB ICE BUCKET – SILVER PLATED Item #58635
A gorgeous and unusual piece by Mappin & Webb, the body and lid finely chased with florals and with a gilt wash to interior. Could be used as either an ice bucket or a biscuit barrel etc. No dents. Exterior is absolutely gleaming with some slight wear to the lid and some heavy tarnish to inside base arms of handle. The handle has a slight ‘kink’ to one side at its hinge end. Interior is gleaming gold with some slight marks & wear to the interior base. GBP39.99

A good ‘deco period’ large sauce boat and stand by LeClere of Sheffield. Absolutely gleaming mirror-like silver, no dents, minor surface marks. Interior of boat has some tiny pinprick sized spots to base. GBP24.99

GLEAMING ANTIQUE SMALL SILVER PLATED WAITER / DRINKS TRAY – L&W SHEFFIELD Item #58637
A lovely silver plated waiter tray by Lee & Wigfull with chased surface, raised on paw feet. Absolutely gleaming, minor surface marks, no dents. One of the feet has an ‘indent’ that at first glance looks like a break, but it isnt – it is just an ‘indent’ in the casting of the foot, and the foot is absolutely rigid etc. It has probably been there since it was made. Its minor, hardly noticeable, and doesn’t affect use etc anyway. GBP21.99

A very nice looking rectangular and wavy end sideboard tray with fretworked rim, Grecian urns to each corner. Raised on bun feet. Made by Wm Shirtcliffe & Sons of Sheffield c. 1930. No dents, gleaming silver with minor surface marks. GBP24.99

GORGEOUS VICTORIAN SILVER PLATED & GLASS BUTTER DISH Item #58639
A fine looking silver plated butter dish stand by William Clarke of London, the lid having a lovely pointed cone finial. Raised on ball feet. Gleaming silver with some surface marks, no dents. Some very slight wear to the lid around the chasing. Glass is excellent. Any dark patches in the photos are just reflections. GBP37.99

LARGE GEORGIAN STYLE INKWELL STANDISH – SILVER PLATED – ANTIQUE Item #58641
A gorgeous and very large inkwell standish in the Georgian style but made later, probably Edwardian. The removable candle holder sits on a sealing wax compartment. Marked NJ ‘ (flower) D’ (unknown maker – possibly Dublin). Stand is gleaming silver with some very minor surface marks, no dents. Glass is fine (some tiny fleabites only) with some very minor ink residue. Both wells have some minor marks to their plating at the apertures from use. Missing its snuffer to the candle holder. GBP119.99

LOVELY SILVER PLATED DOUBLE ENTRÉE DISH – ALEXANDER CLARK LONDON ANTIQUE Item #58642
A fine looking early c.20th ‘Welbeck Plate’ silver plated entrée dish with detachable handle so that the lid can be used as a secondary serving dish if desired. Made by the Alexander Clark Co of London. No dents, gleaming silver with some slight surface marks to the underside of the lid section. Handle locks nicely. GBP34.99

A silver plated epergne having central fixed trumpet and 3 removable side trumpets. Engraved with a Dublin Metropolitan Police related inscription for ‘G’ Division dated 1922. Overall gleaming but with plate wear. Some slight dents. GBP29.99

UNUSUAL ANTIQUE BARK TEXTURE SILVER PLATED CRUMB TRAY & PAN SILVER PLATED Item #58646
Here are 2 unusual pieces by John Grinsell & Sons of Birmingham, both having a ‘modernist bark texture’ which wouldn’t have been out of place in the late 1960’s, but these are much earlier in date! AESTHETIC MOVEMENT DOUBLE DRINKS MEASURE – SILVER PLATED – VICTORIAN ANTIQUE Item #58648
A very unusual Victorian aesthetic movement double ended drinks measure with chased florals and birds, c. 1875. Monogrammed ‘HJB’. Has been historically re-soldered at the larger cup stem join end, resulting in a slight lean. Some wear to interior of the smaller cup. GBP24.99

ANTIQUE SILVER PLATED CANDLE WAX JACK Item #58649
A Georgian style wax jack, no makers marks etc. It looks to be electroplated rather than Old Sheffield Plate, so it is probably an Edwardian reproduction. Gleaming silver with some mild tarnish. The winding key doesn’t move the central barrel at all, so its more decorative than useful. Candle is perished. Some wear to underside baize. GBP49.99

A gorgeous looking 3 piece set by Martin Hall & Co with finely chased decoration. Gilt wash to interior of milk jug and sugar bowl. Main jug is 2 pints capacity. All gleaming silver. Some minimal wear to the main jug plating but its not noticeable in normal lighting etc. Some slight tarnish to interior gilt wash and mild tarnish to interior base of the main jug. No dents. Some heavy tarnish to underside of the main jug. GBP44.99

ORNATE COAL SCUTTLE FORM SUGAR BOWL – SILVER PLATED – BARKER BROS Item #58651
A very good looking early c.20th sugar bowl in the form a coal scuttle. Made by Barker Bros. Main body is EPBM, scoop is silver on copper. Absolutely gleaming silver. One minor line ‘dent’ to underside of the scuttle body (a knock really, has no depth to it). Scoop has slight wear. GBP24.99
