A gorgeous looking 3 piece set by Wm Hutton & Sons, each piece with its original Bristol blue glass liner. Quite heavy gauge silver. Fully hallmarked for London 1901 to the salt & pepper, 1902 to the mustard.. No dents other than some minor knocks to the pepper pot lid which are not that noticeable due to its shape. Some feint tarnish related marks to mustard pot lid. Spoons are sterling replacements. Total silver weight is 139g. Total weight including liners is 266g. GBP99.99

VERY LARGE SILVER PLATED TUREEN – LION MASK HANDLES – ANTIQUE Item #59530
A lovely thing this, unusually larger than most serving bowls and with gorgeous large lion mask and ring handles. Georgian style, made to look like Old Sheffield Plate so probably Edwardian in date. Shown with a wine bottle to help gauge its size. Gleaming silver, no dents other than a couple of gentle knocks to interior base. There are some faintish ‘lines’ in the plating where we presume the lid was kept in place for a while with elastic bands, which have slightly eaten into the silver, they are not showstoppers. Lid handle is ‘hard soldered’ and shows a little excess solder so it may have been off and resoldered in place at some stage. Height measurement given is to the rim, excluding the lid height.
