What a set this is! Made by Joseph Rodgers, the delightfully shaped knife blades bear clear PDOR marks for design in 1848. In lovely original case, the cutlery over 2 layers. These are close plated (silver on steel). All hand polished & gleaming silver with some use marks. Some of the forks show a little wear to plating at rear sides. No handle chips, a few have some minimal and short stress lines in the pearl at ferrule areas to sides of handles. There are some cosmetic cracks in the lid veneer. No key. GBP199.99

A good looking cased set of 6 pairs of fruit dessert cutlery with carved mother of pearl handles and silver plated uppers. Probably c. 1925. All hand polished & gleaming silver with some use marks. A good looking coffee pot of larger capacity, made by Daniel & Arter. Gleaming silver, a small patch of plate wear at the lid aperture area. There is a historical small solder repair to the top side of the spout at its widest point, it is not that distracting. Some residual tarnish to interior. GBP24.99
OLD SHEFFIELD PLATE CRUET SET STAND WITH LATER GLASS AND CAYENNE SPOON Item #60792
A lovely Old Sheffield Plate cruet bottle stand complete with 5 later bottles, a mustard spoon and a gorgeous partly gilded cayenne spoon. Stand is gleaming silver with some surface marks, slight wear and its restrainer rings are slightly out of perfect shape. Glassware is all good with minimal fleabiting only, some bloom to interior of the mustard pot and some wear to its lid plating. The cayenne bottle has different cut work to the other 4 pieces. Slight wear to cayenne spoon. The glassware does not fit tightly in the rings but it still works nicely enough on the table and keeps them in place etc. GBP49.99
