A superb 44 piece set in Queens by Hugh Foulerton. Queens doesn’t come along very often and certainly not in this condition! Appears to be completely unused. Has been stored in open wraps, all gleaming silver etc. Case has some slight digs and a slight warp to lid. GBP159.99

A good 50 piece set in Kings, Sheffield made by ‘The Silver Gallery’. Appears to be pretty much unused. Has been stored in open plastic wraps. Overall gleaming with some minor tarnish to a few pieces. Case has some scuffs etc GBP149.99
CARVED MOTHER OF PEARL HANDLE DESSERT CUTLERY SET SILVER PLATED ANTIQUE Item #61774
A fine looking 12 piece set with carved mother of pearl handles and sp uppers with bright cut work. They have sterling silver ferrules fully hallmarked for Sheffield 1896. Comes in an attractive mahogany veneered case with vacant brass shield to lid. All gleaming silver, some slight surface marks to knife blades. A couple of the silver ferrules to the knives have slight movement. A minor surface crack in the pearl to rear of one knife blade but hardly noticeable. One fork has a surface stress line in the pearl. One fork has a longer handle than the others for some reason. Case has some marks/scuffs and a missing a slither of wood to the back right hand surface of the case. GBP119.99

A good looking set unfortunately missing one each of knife and fork, so 22 pieces at of the original 24 present. Made by Daniel George Collins of London c. 1900. A lovely set of 12 pairs of dessert knives and forks with mother of pearl handles, silver plated uppers and sterling silver ferrules fully hallmarked for Sheffield 1913. Made by Hukin & Heath. In original oak veneered case. All hand polished & gleaming silver with some use marks. One knife handle has a cosmetic surface crack running around its base and a slight chip or recess at front end of handle. Case lining has a rust mark from an old key. Lid has a shrinkage crack. There are some issues with this set, 2 forks have handles that are askew from their uppers, one knife similarly but only a little bit. One fork has a smooth shallow end of handle chip. A very fine looking Victorian sugar castor with a beautifully profuse hobnail cut glass pear shaped body and silver plated lid. Glass excellent, slight wear to lid plating but gleaming, the neck collar plating is quite worn but you obviously don’t see this with the lid in place. GBP24.99

GEORGIAN STERLING SILVER DRUM MUSTARD POT NEWCASTLE LANGLANDS ROBERTSON Item #61786
A George III sterling silver drum mustard pot by John Langlands I & John Robertson I of Newcastle, bearing just partial markings of lion passant and duty mark, no assay office or date letter which is not too unusual for Newcastle made pieces. The Bristol blue glass liner fits perfectly so may even be its original. It will date c, 1780. Comes with a later sterling silver mustard spoon by Josiah Williams & co London 1901. Pot overall very good with some feint tarnish related marks. A miniscule shallow pinhead knock to lid (barely even visible). Liner fine. Some slight verdigris to interior base but obviously hidden by the liner. Spoon fine. Pot weighs 83g, spoon weighs 8g, Total silver weight 91g. Total weight including glass 172g. GBP124.99

A good looking brush jar by Adie Bros, the lid with a nice pink guilloche enamel on gilt washed silver top. Fully hallmarked for Birmingham 1923. Enamel is perfect. Slight rub to the gilt wash and some very gentle knocks around the top band of the lid (miniscule). Glass has a tiny chip to its base. GBP24.99

A fabulous piece by Christofle made for the famous Grand Hotel Waldhaus in the Alps probably very early on in its existence. Quite a large size and has a nice clear glass liner. Comes with a good English made bead pattern shell bowl mustard spoon which matches the beading of the pedestal of the pot. Absolutely gleaming, minor surface marks, no plate wear, glass fine other than a miniscule rim fleabite (invisible when in place). Spoon fine. GBP59.99
FABULOUS SET OF OLIVE COCKTAIL FORKS & KNIVES SEMI-PRECIOUS STONES Item #61798
These are really quite incredible little pieces! There are 5 forks and 5 knives, they are unmarked silver plated, and each handle is a semi-precious stone including carved amber (with inclusions), carved amethyst quartz, other quartz, carved rock crystal, agates etc. Forks range in size from 10cm to 10.5cm, knives 11.8-12cm. We assume they were intended for use as date or olive utensils. Probably dating c. 1920, origin middle eastern at a guess. Handles all fine, plating to some of the blades is partly worn but still overall gleaming. GBP149.99

A superb souvenir spoon of the RMS Mauretania by Levi & Salaman, fully hallmarked for Birmingham 1921. Gilt washed bowl. Comes in card presentation box. Enamel fine other than a slight scratch/gig to the top blue enamel panel. Otherwise exemplary. The hallmark date letter is lightly stamped and hard to read but it is definitely the 1921 ‘w’. GBP49.99
