HANAU STERLING SILVER HEART SHAPE TRINKET DISH – LONDON 1895 IMPORT Item #55107
A lovely heart shaped dish of Hanau origin bearing original crowned ‘R’ makers mark, also bearing import hallmarks for London 1895, importer David Bridge. Some slight surface rub to the central courting couple decoration. Rim has several breaks but not immediately obvious and the silver is quite a good gauge so no big problem. GBP74.99

A sterling silver lidded nicely deep cut glass based shallow powder pot, the lid having a mirror to its underside and fully hallmarked for Birmingham 1939, maker F H Adams & Holman. Lid knob has a small monogram ‘EWG’. Glass is excellent. Lid does have some slight scouring type marks to the silver and some overall tiny knocks. Mirror fine. No monograms. Glass is good with a tiny outer rim nibble and some minor near invisible fleabites to the hobnails. Silver lid has some slight dents and surface marks, light scratches. One slightly larger rim dent above the hallmarked area. Lid weighs 11g. GBP19.99

A lovely looking hobnail cut glass jar, unusually of waisted form (i.e. tapers inwards at middle). The silver lid has repousse scroll and flower decoration and is fully hallmarked for Birmingham 1902, maker Britton, Gould & Co. Glass is fine. Silver lid has some slight dents mainly to the rim so not that noticeable, and a few small holes. Looks great. Lid weighs 8g. GBP24.99

INITIAL ‘D’ 1888 SCOTTISH PAIR of LARGE STERLING SILVER & EBONY BRUSHES – H&I Item #55124
A most beautiful & rare pair of larger sized brushes by Hamilton & Inches, fully hallmarked for Edinburgh 1888. The ornate silverwork is almost invisibly pinned to the ebony. Central single initial ‘D’ to each. Natural bristles. Overall splendid, bristles in good shape for their age with some slight discoloration and minor balding but good and very thick density of bristle. No splits. One of the silver letters is missing a tiny section of ‘scroll’ but it is hardly noticeable. GBP59.99

ART DECO STERLING SILVER & BAKELITE MUSTARD POT – BIRMINGHAM 1927 Item #55125
A sterling silver multi-faceted body & lid pedestalled mustard pot with fixed bakelite interior and weighted bakelite base. Made by Joseph Gloster and fully hallmarked for Birmingham 1927. Overall very good, the tiniest of pinprick knocks, no dents. Hallmarks part rubbed but still legible enough. Note that this is a highly faceted piece, the camera didn’t pick this up well in the photos. GBP39.99

A 3 piece cruet set by Robert Pringle, interestingly with 3 different assay office hallmarks – the salt pot Chester 1907, mustard pot London 1907, pepper pot Birmingham 1906. Some feint surface tarnish related marks. Hallmarks are part rubbed. Pepper pot has dents to lower body. Tarnish to interior of the salt pot & mustard pot but hidden by the glass liners. Both liners are fine. Spoons are replacements, mixed makers and dates. Total silver weight is 108g. Total weight with liners is 150g. GBP79.99

PAIR ANTIQUE STERLING SILVER PEPPER POTS & SALT POTS – AS FOUND – 122g Item #55127
A pair of pepper pots by Horace Woodward Ltd, fully hallmarked for Birmingham 1900, together with a pair of open salt pots with glass liners, also Horace Woodward, Birmingham 1919. These are sold as found. The pepper pots have some general tarnish related marks, both have some holes to foot rims and one has a couple of ‘split’ holes to its body at facets, visible from interior when held to the light. One lid has some cosmetic rim splits of no consequence. Salt pots some heavier tarnish marks to interiors and denting. Glass liners ok. Total silver weight is 122g. Total weight including liners is 186g. GBP81.99

A pair of cut glass perfume bottles with long sterling silver collars fully hallmarked for London 1923, maker Henry Perkins & Sons. No stoppers. One has some residue to interior. Main bodies of both fine. Silver collars have general knocks/digs. Slight crack to one at inside neck, not threatening, other one has some slight rim chipping and a hairline through this.
