A set of 6 vintage dinner forks in Harley pattern, Sheffield made. All hand polished & gleaming silver with some use marks. One of the forks has shorter side prongs but it looks like it was just made this way rather than them being worn away, the points are still sharp etc. GBP17.99

OLD SHEFFIELD PLATE VANITY BOXES & JARS – GEORGIAN GLASS – SILVER PLATED Item #53444
A suite of 2 boxes and 2 jars with Old Sheffield Plate lids, the 2 boxes having pierced lids. Long box measures 17.9cm by 4cm by 3.8cm, small box measures 9cm by 5.5cm by 3.7cm, small jar measures 3.8cm tall by 4cm diameter, larger jar measures 8.5cm tall by 5cm diameter. Obviously all have copper bleed etc. The longer box has a small corner chip to glass and a small pinhead knock to lid. The smaller box has a chip to one of its vertical edges. The small jar has some minor rim nibbles and lid knocks. The taller jar has a larger chip to body and a tiny knock to lid. They are still quite useable. GBP24.99

Height measurement is rim-to-rim. Overall good, there is a fine hairline visible at the inside rim handle side but it is very minor and not threatening. A good looking sterling silver mustard pot by Wm Aitken fully hallmarked for Birmingham 1903, complete with glass liner and a silver mustard spoon by Horace Woodward & Co, Birmingham 1909. Good, a small dent to underside and a small dig to inside rim area at the hinge end, slight marks to interior but hidden by liner. Liner good, spoon has a knock to its bowl rim. Total silver weight is 52g. GBP49.99

VINTAGE ROCOCO STYLE SILVER PLATED – REXEL BAMBI STAPLER – EARLY EXAMPLE Item #53462
A fine looking vintage Rexel Bambi stapler mounted on a wooden plinth and clad in a silver plated Rococo style ornate covering. The base plate is also silver plated and monogrammed with ‘A.R.G’. Appears to work fine but we do not have the staples to test it with. There are some scratches/slight wear to the base plate from where the stapler has been rotated. Some wear to the varnish to plinth and loss of baize to underside. GBP24.99

BEAUTIFUL SERVING FORK – ELKINGTON 1851 SILVER PLATED ANTIQUE ROYAL CROWN CREST Item #53463
A very good looking serving fork (technically a fish serving fork) by Elkington made in 1851, with ornate chased serpentine fish within bulrushes to rear side, further bulrushes to front side. Handle has a Royally crowned (appears to be the St Edwards Crown, which is interesting in itself!) belt and buckle device around a raised but unengraved circle. Gleaming silver, minor surface marks. GBP24.99

WELL CAST ANTIQUE JOCKEY TROPHY FIGURE – SILVER PLATED – VICTORIAN HORSE RACING Item #53464
A very nicely cast Victorian figure of a jockey bearing his saddle to shoulder. Very heavy for size, this is silver plated on solid brass. He has screw holes to underside of feet from being previously mounted on a plinth. Fine with slight surface digs and some slight wear to the plating. We have deliberately not polished this. One of the screw holes to feet has slight damage but it wont cause any problems with re-mounting on a plinth etc. GBP99.99

A very fine looking cruet set on stand with a galleried style retainer for the bottles and central carrying handle. The small bottle is a cayenne pepper bottle and it still has its gilt washed spoon attached to it’s stopper. Polished and gleaming silver with minor surface marks to stand etc from use. The larger stopper is a replacement and slightly oversized for its bottle but very similar in style to the cayenne stopper. Another stopper is an unmatched one but fits its bottle nicely. VEYRAT – PAIR OF TUREENS WITH HEAVY STERLING LINERS – ANTIQUE SILVER PLATED Item #53488
A gorgeous pair of c.19th tureens by Veyrat of Paris, silver on copper with large ‘fruit’ type finials to lids and very ornate handles. They have removable first standard (950 silver quality, purer than sterling silver) liner bowls to their interiors bearing the Mercure export mark of 1840-1879. Gleaming silver with some slight copper bleed but look fantastic. Some minor knocks, no major dents. One of the silver liners has a pinprick hole at its Mercure punch mark, presumably there since it was punched, its very tiny anyway. Surface marks to the liner bowls from use and some minor knocks. The combined weight of the 2 silver liners is 921g (29.61 troy oz). GBP599.99

A top quality pair of Old Sheffield Plate chamber sticks complete with their original removable wax drip pans and candle snuffers. Tinned undersides. A lovely and unusual piece by William Hornby, appears to be hallmarked for London 1898 which would make it one of his earliest pieces. The handle appears to be an opaque glass or crystal and is mounted with a snake. The blade is gilded over a thin layer of copper on sterling silver. Overall good, slight wear to the gilt and some gentle knocks to blade. Date letter is part rubbed/unclear but almost certainly the 1898 ‘e’. Snake has some rotation on the handle when ‘pushed’, but not about to fall off. GBP99.99
