No damage to glass. The one with the weighted mechanism has a very small dent to top of lid edge & has lost its solder to a vertical bar join to lid interior, but it is still quite solid & doesn’t cause any problems with use and cant be seen etc. GBP23.99

An interesting piece, looks to be c. 1880 ish from the EPNS markings. It is small as in the size of a gaming place marker, don’t think that it is a pipe tamper, it looks more like a gaming piece due to its plinth style mount. Weighted base. Gleaming silver with some slight wear but please bear in mind the photos are very ‘blown up’ as this is a small piece, the wear doesn’t show so much in reality.
