TG GREEN CORNISHWARE 2X HUGE PUDDING BOWLS 9+6 pint C. 1930 EARLY CHURCH Item #48951
Here are 2 truly huge lipped pudding basins by T.G. Green, the largest being 9 pint capacity and the slightly smaller one 6 pint. The 9 pint size was the largest that TGG ever made and the 6 pint the 2nd largest. See the 1928 advertisement photo. We have been custodians of these for over 20 years and they have made a good few Christmas cakes etc over the years, but time for them to go to a new home. Will be exceptionally well packed of course. Both very good for their near 100 years, no chips, some glaze crazing and utensil marks to the base of the 9 pint one and minor anomalies from manufacture but both good and solid. GBP199.99

A good sized silver plated serving tray by Cavalier with chased surface and galleried rim. Absolutely gleaming silver, no dents, some marks to underside and some odd vertical scratch type lines to the outside of the gallery that appear to be from manufacture – you don’t see any of these right side up and it looks absolutely fine.
