GLEAMING ANTIQUE SILVER PLATED TEA POT Item #58812
A good looking silver plated teapot of flattened globe shape with a fruit finial. Bears a bell mark to the bottom, possibly a re-plated Old Sheffield Plate example. Absolutely gleaming silver with some very tiny pinprick spots to body in places. Probably re-plated, some evidence of historical soldering at top handle join but its not unsightly. No dents. Interior very clean with a minor scratch. GBP39.99

A really fine looking silver plated entrée dish with detachable handle so that the lid can be used as a secondary serving dish if desired. Retailed by Lister of Newcastle and made by Charles Edward Nixon of Sheffield. Will date c. 1890. Gleaming silver with some surface marks and some tiny spots to interior base. Lid has a couple of tiny knocks that are only visible when it is upside down. Lid has a minor gap when on the dish but it fits perfectly well enough for use, definitely the right lid. GBP39.99
LARGE GLASS & SILVER PLATED SALAD BOWL WITH SERVERS – VINTAGE Item #58826
A larger than usual pressed glass salad or fruit bowl with a silver plated rim, made by Falstaff, together with a pair of cut glass and silver plated salad servers made by James Deakin & Sons of Sheffield. bowl: Glass fine, plating generally gleaming but there is some wear and a patch where the silver has completely lifted. Still overall looks ok. Servers: plating is gleaming but with some wear, most visible to rear of bowls. One handle has a quite tiny and totally smooth slither of a chip at its end area. Despite some slight issues they still look attractive and quite a centrepiece for a garden party etc. GBP29.99

An exceptionally nice set by Wm Hutton & Sons c. 1860 with beautifully carved handles and ornate ferrules. In original case. Handles are all very good with just one piece having a minor nibble to its end. Plating generally still good with use marks, some slight wear to fork prong rear tips etc. Case is missing its knife separators to top section and its hinges have been changed at some point as evidenced by the extra screw holes visible. Exterior good with some scratches and a couple of natural ‘cracks’ of no consequence to the lid. GBP239.99

A good looking vintage Old English Sheffield Plate reproduction silver on copper handled dish / tray with applied lead grapes & vines rim decoration, chased interior and pierced work inner rim. The inner recess would work well for a camembert cheese etc or mid size ramekin (pate sort of size) – recess is c. 9.8cm diameter. You could use it as is as a nice grapes tray.
