An early c.20th silver plated entrée dish with detachable handle so that the lid can be used as a secondary serving dish if desired. Made by Mappin & Webb in their Prince’s Plate range. Overall gleaming silver, a small patch of wear to the inside of the base dish and some slight spotting to interior of both lid and base. Slight knocks to the lid rim corners and a gentle knock to base dish towards centre, shallow dent to one corner. Handle is a little awkward sometimes but definitely the right one and does lock nicely once you get it correctly in position. GBP22.99

Some minor wear to underside of lower handle join and top handle join area the join seam is visible but it’s a very minor point really . Pot interior is clean with some slight surface scouring marks.
